Event Location – Carrick-on-Suir
Nestled along the River Suir, this historic cycling town (home to Sean Kelly and Sam Bennett) will be your start and finish hub. Expect a buzzing event village, passionate supporters, and a truly special atmosphere as the town transforms into an Irish Tour de France stage.
Registration Details
You’ll need to collect your rider pack – which includes your timing chip, bike number and final info – before you roll out.
Location: Event Marquee, Carrick Swan’s GAA Club – Eircode E32 WD00
Opening Hours:
- Saturday 27th September: 16:00 – 21:00
- Sunday 28th September: 06:30 – 08:30
Top Tip: Register on Saturday evening to avoid the morning rush and soak up the event village.
Start Line Info
- Start Time: 09:00 sharp – for both 100KM and 150KM routes
- Location: Townwall Street & William Street, in the centre of Carrick-on-Suir
Get there early, soak in the energy, and prepare for a grand départ you’ll never forget.
On-Course Support & Food Stops
We’ve got you covered with well-stocked feed stations along the route. Each station includes water, electrolytes, bananas, bars, gels, fruit, and mechanical support.
150KM Route:
- Foodstop 1: Ballymacarbry
- Foodstop 2: Sliabh gCua St Mary’s GAA Club, Touraneena
- Foodstop 3: Mahonbridge
100KM Route:
- Foodstop 1: Ballymacarbry
- Foodstop 2: Mahonbridge
Please plan your nutrition carefully and refill bottles at every stop.
Route Cut-Off Time – 150KM Only
For the safety of riders and volunteers, a cut-off time applies to the long route.
**If you do not reach Foodstop 1 (Ballymacarbry) by 11:15 AM, you will be re-routed onto the 100KM course.
This ensures all riders finish safely within daylight and support hours. Train smart, pace well, and keep an eye on your time.
